(I'm sorry if this may not be my best, I've just got a few things going on right now, but I did promise something so here it is.)
Star gazing...
It was the only word that was needed to describe exactly what Naomi was doing at the moment. Having lazily flopped down into the grass only moments before, on some hill just outside of the Capital City within the Fire Nation, our young Avatar found herself consumed with the constellations and trying to discover which constellation what which, though this was something that was taking a great deal of effort on her part. If there was one thing - actually there was more then one thing - in which she simply was not good at, it was star gazing and trying to name off constellations. It was something her parents had learnt to do when they were children, yet it was also something that as a young child Naomi simply did not have the patience to sit around and stare up at the un-interesting stars.
But tonight, well tonight was different.
The fact that she had just arrived in the Fire Nation - for really no given reason - in hopes of avoiding the entire Avatar publicity, well perhaps that had a lot to do with it. In fact, she'd been there only a few short hours and found herself sitting on the hill right outside of the Capital City the entire time. It already being past dinner time and having made a small fire and cooked something up, Naomi simply could not keep herself interested with the fire any longer. Just watching it's cackling flames and the smoke rising up into the air was making her dizzy, just enough that she had to step away from the fire for a little bit.
But now being a few feet from the fire, she had nothing else to do. Which would have explained why she was staring up at the still dull stars.
But perhaps it was something else...A gentle tugging from earlier on had seemingly been pointing off toward the palace where the Fire Lord and Prince ere currently at rest. It was just the smallest of sensations that something was going to happen remarkably soon and that she would be a fool to miss out on whatever it was. Trouble. With her luck, even if she had followed that sensation, she would find herself in a great deal of trouble, and that was the last thing she had wanted. The only reason she was even on Fire Nation grounds was to escape everything else, avoid having millions of questions thrown at her by everyone else about her being the Avatar. She needed a vacation, even if that did mean she was camping out for the night. That part wasn't so bad.
Propping herself up onto her elbows, Naomi turned her gaze to the ever so dying flame. Within the next hour or so it would be fully out, meaning she could get some sleep. But for the time being she would have to wait it and out and continue staring up at the stars. Unless she got lucky enough or have someone find her up on t he hill...Though she could only hope even if this were the case, they wouldn’t realize what she was, or better, who she was.
"And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming. Or the moment of truth in your lies. When everything feels like the movies. Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive."

Arora sat outside in the cold while Kina had already fallen asleep. She had Kina over for a campout since they hadn't really hung out in a while. Arora sat up and was looking at the stars wondering how her father was doing. He had just been recently sent out on his job and had been gone for a week at the least.
Since the fire they had set up had gone out and Kina was asleep, Arora decided to out by the water since she couldn't sleep. She just sat there watching the cold waves come up on the shoreline and touch her barefooted feet. She started to waterbend a little since she had nothing else to do, but wonder how much longer until her father got back.
She laid back in the warm sand and watched the stars again. Kina apparently had woken up since she came over and laid next to her. They just laid there the rest of the night on the warm sand wondering what was to come.

(I'll delete this if you don't want me to be in this thread :3)
Tekidan yawned widely, her eyes beginning to droop. She trudged lazily alongside Rasha, who's head was progressivly getting closer to he ground. He snorted, annoyed with her. His black eyes glared at her, wondering why it was too dark to see and yet they were still walking.
"I'm sorry, Rasha," she whispered, trying to sooth the animal. They had been traveling for two days straight without any sleep, fleeing a small company of Fire Nation soldiers. She had snuck into their camp and stolen a few scrolls of a battle plans while they were sleeping. Tekidan snickered. Those fire nation warriors were the most in-experianced she had ever met. And she had met a lot of warriors. One of Tekidan's favorite pasttimes was antagonizing companies of soldiers. It was just so entertaining! She liked watching them scramble like ants searching for her, while she watched safely from a tree above. And while these warriors were quicker than some, they were still none too bright. In the end, she decided to hide where they would least expect her - in the heart of enemy territory. Tekidan smothered a laugh again as she imagined them searching unsuccessfully for her.
Suddenly, Tekidan came to a large hill. She gave a soft groan at the prospect of climbing it, but began anyway. She climbed sliently, like a cobra weaving through the grass, unsure of what she would find on the other side. To her relief, she saw nothing threatening in the distance. She smiled and started out on the hill.
Only to trip and fall flat on her face.
"Oof!" she cried as her face connected with the ground. She turned to see what she had tripped over, than to her horror found it was a person. Rasha was shaking his head, and if he could have laughed, she was sure he would have. "Sorry!" Tekidan apologized, "I'm really clumsy, are you all right?"
